Hi Kari!

I found your blog on Active Rain, and it's refreshing to see another soul going out on their own (off of Active Rain) to blog. Even though it is a long way from us (we're in the North Georgia moutnains), my husband and myself enjoyed looking over your blogs. Stop by and say hi sometime!

I find this extremely interesting as I have lived in many large cities across North America. I spent over 5 years in Vancouver and the parking rates seemed to coincide with a big boom in real estate prices. I have experienced this exact same affect in 3 different cities.

I definitely believe that recycling is extremely important and that every city should implement its own recycling program. It is sad to see that Saskatoon is behind most other cities in Canada. How ironic is it that the City of Prince Albert has a city wide recycling program that is free for all residents but Saskatoon doesn't. I definitely think this is something that should be rolled out throughout the city as its just one more way to encourage people to do their part.
